Wildflowers, traditional skills, friendly company and a beautiful location – what’s not to love?!

Local volunteers are creating and maintaining wildflower meadow areas at St Cuthbert’s Churchyard, Corsenside, using the traditional skill of scything. However, more people are needed to help keep this project going – and we need people with lots of different skills, not just scything!

This event will be an opportunity to share ideas and plan activities for the coming year and beyond!

Come along to find out more about this project and how you can get involved. If you’d like to join in a shared meal, please bring some food to share, alternatively bring along a packed lunch. If you can, please also check you are negative for covid using a lateral flow test before coming, to help ensure that everyone feels safe.

Please email Jennifer.Care@northwt.org.uk if you intend to come along.

Can’t wait? Want to get your ideas started now?
