10.30am to 3.00pm – Finds from Previous Excavations on display at the Rochester ‘Roundhouse’ (next to Rochester Relish Café and opposite Rochester Village Hall) NE19 1RH, (What3Words location ///film.sideboard.contacts) – with Alex Croom Roman finds expert – Drop-in – no booking required to view the artefacts
11am-12.30pm – Free Guided Archaeology Walk – 1.5hrs, 1.5miles approx Booking required – link

These are short guided walks to the dig site starting from Rochester Roundhouse led by archaeologist Professor Jim Crow.
Reasonable fitness and mobility is required – uphill over rough ground with 2 step & ladder stiles. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry NO dogs.
Stout footwear or walking boots needed.
Please come prepared for sun, wind and rain.
