Outspoken! A friendly and informal open-mic night for writers and poets

Calling all local writers, poets and the people who love to listen to them – come along to this relaxed and inclusive evening at St Cuthbert’s Church. Whether you want to hear creative writers sharing their new work or you’re itching to try your own flash fiction or poetry out loud, now’s your chance! We welcome any spoken word pieces of under a thousand words on a ‘first-come, first-up’ basis, with members of the Elsdon Writing Group setting the scene.

This event is free, all are welcome and light refreshments will be provided. Donations towards church upkeep and the refreshments will be much appreciated.
