The Culture in a Cool Place programme aims to deliver a wide variety of creative events and activities alongside raising the profile of our beautiful church as a community venue.

St Cuthbert’s Church is a cool place in every sense… Always remember to wear an extra jumper!

We have been running Culture in a Cool Place events since 2018. These have included everything from singing sessions, star-gazing and storytelling evenings to photography and writing workshops, meet-the-author events, illustrated talks and a colourful evening of traditional ‘rapper’ sword dancing.
