Desk based assessments are a relatively low cost means of study for community groups and makes heritage accessible to those who may be unable to visit sites. In this two-day course, participants will be introduced to digital research methods, useful resources, historic maps and learn how to produce a quality desk-based assessment (DBA) of their chosen site. This course will be led by an experienced professional from Wessex Archaeology.
