To find out more about this iconic battle and the recent findings, join Geoffrey Carter and John Sadler from the Battlefields Trust for an online talk ‘The Battle of Otterburn – Conflict in a Landscape’ on Thursday 17th February from 8 – 8.45pm. Hear the story of Henry ‘Hotspur’ Percy, the Earl of Douglas and this medieval battle fought in the failing light of evening. Hear the latest findings from 3 ½ years of research and fieldwork investigations by volunteers, landscape and battlefield archaeologists as part of Revitalising Redesdale’s Battle of Otterburn project led by the Battlefields Trust. The 45 minute talk will be followed by the opportunity for questions.
Although free, registration is required to attend using this link.

The talk Zoom portal opens at 7.45 for a 8pm start.
