Nest boxes imitate holes and cavities that many birds use for nesting and roosting. They can help to compensate for a shortage of natural sites.

A member of Northumbria Ringing Group will lead a short guided walk to include topics such as bird song, identification, habitat and nesting requirements.

Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

Booking is essential. This event is suitable for ages 7+. All persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
