Build your own beehive!
As part of their Community Heritage Fund-ed project, the Redesdale Beekeeping Group is running a short course on assembling flat-pack beehives for members of the public. Learn about the basics of beekeeping and the importance of native bees in Redesdale.
The session is aimed at those interested in taking up beekeeping, with the opportunity to purchase your own beehive for £200 (approx.). They will take place on 1st, 15th, 21st February and 7th, 21st March, 10:30 – 15:30 at Rochester Village Hall.
Coffee and tea are provided. Please either bring a packed lunch or the Camien Cafe sells a variety of lunch options and is located across the road.
Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
