Many of the projects delivered by the Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership programme would not have happened without the brilliant volunteers, residents and visitors who took part. These included volunteers who undertook field and desk-based research, investigations and training through the Lost Redesdale activities led by Northumberland National Park Authority; volunteers who planted trees and helped restore meadows and peat bogs through the Natural Redesdale projects with Northumberland Wildlife Trust and the Tyne Rivers Trust, and people who helped with publicity and man stands at events.

Although the Revitalising Redesdale Programme finished in September 2022 there are many groups and organisations who continue to undertake work and projects in Redesdale and have volunteering opportunities for you to get involved with.

These include:

Redesdale Archaeology Group (RAG)
Friends of Corsenside helping create and manage wildflower meadows at St Cuthbert’s Church, Corsenside
Northumberland Wildlife Trust
Northumberland National Park Authority
Tyne Rivers Trust
